If someone is not included on this list it means that we haven't had much contact with them and therefore can't recommend them for benchmarking – we don't mean to exclude any great companies. Richland College – 2005 TAPE recipient - how many ways can you say “wow” – these people know how to bring the fun into learning and have the biggest hearts we have ever seen. We think they are one of the greatest community colleges… ever!

Northwest Vista College –
2007 TAPE recipient. Another outstanding organization of the greatest magnitude. This organization, while still pretty young for a community college, just runs circles around their competitors. And you can't go wrong with a group whose president is named Jackie – right? Get ‘em kids!

Tempo Air – (was part of TDIndustries when they won the TAPE award in 1998) – a great little employee-owned organization who is learning and growing everyday. Haven't seen a single sling or arrow yet that can hurt ‘em. My bet is on THEM!

Mesquite Independent School District – you want to see a story about David and Goliath where the good guy always makes it work – watch these guys. They are just always on the “get ‘er done” side of the fence. Lots of respect from us to them…

Granite Properties – Outside of their industry, not many people know about this little gem, but they are great. What we like so much about them is that they are good, they know it, and they are all over the idea of being better still.
